Leap Infraasys wins the OHE design contract for Noida Metro Extension

Leap Infraasys (LIPL) was awarded the contract to provide Detailed Design Consultancy (DDC) services for the 25 kV Overhead Equipment (OHE) system for the Noida Metro Aqua Line's eastern extension. There are nine stations along this new 14.95 km elevated extension in Greater Noida West that connects Sector 51 to Knowledge Park V.

After cancelling the initial tender in April, the Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) re-invited offers in May with a Rs. 430,000 estimate and a 910-day deadline.

When technical bids were opened in June, two bidders were identified: Balaji Railroad Systems (BARSYL) and LIPL.
