Western Railway appoints Vineet Abhishek as CPRO

Western Railway has appointed Vineet Abhishek, an Indian Railway Traffic Service official from the 2010 class, as its new Chief Public Relations official (CPRO). He holds a degree in management and has worked in transportation and urban development for more than 19 years. He oversaw several initiatives in the areas of ticket checking and non-fare revenue in his prior role as senior divisional commercial manager of Mumbai Central division, which helped the division achieve its first-ever revenue milestone of Rs 40 billion in 2023?2024.
