Manitowoc to showcase latest tower crane

Manitowoc’s stand at bC India 2011 will feature its new MC 125 Potain Top-slewing Tower Crane which replaces the MC 115 B. Also on display will be the Igo 32 Self-erecting Tower Crane.

The MC 125, which is built in Manitowoc’s factory in Pune as well as its facility in Zhangjiagang, China, features a 60 m maximum jib length - 5 m more than the MC 115 B. In its standard form, the crane has a choice of five possible jib lengths including the 60 m maximum. It also has a maximum free-standing height of 44 m but can reach much higher by tying off to structures. The crane’s maximum capacity is 6 tonne while at the 60 m jib end, it can still lift 1.15 tonne. In addition to showing tower cranes and self-erecting cranes from its Potain brand, Manitowoc will also showcase a mobile crane.
