APSEZ Achieves Record Cargo Volumes in March 2025

Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (APSEZ) reported its highest-ever monthly cargo volume of 41.5 MMT in March 2025, marking a 9% YoY growth, driven by a 19% rise in container cargo and a 5% increase in liquid and gas shipments. 

Mundra Port set a historic milestone, handling 200.7 MMT of cargo in FY25, making it the first Indian port to surpass the 200 MMT mark in a single year. Meanwhile, Vizhinjam Port crossed the 100,000 TEU milestone during March. 

For FY25, APSEZ handled a record 450.2 MMT of cargo, reflecting a 7% YoY growth, with container volumes rising by 20% and liquids and gas by 9%. Additionally, logistics rail volumes reached 0.64 million TEUs (+8% YoY), while GPWIS (Grain, Petroleum, and Water Infrastructure Services) volumes stood at 21.97 MMT (+9% YoY). 

These achievements further strengthen APSEZ鈥檚 position as India鈥檚 largest port operator, reinforcing its critical role in global trade and supply chain logistics.
