37,000 LED lights to be installed in Belagavi Smart City

To increase the effectiveness of the lighting system, up to 37,000 LED lights will be installed in Belagavi as part of the smart city project.

Nitesh Patil, Deputy Commissioner, met with representatives from smart cities and other parties to discuss a number of issues.

The installation of LED lights, he claimed, is moving slowly. He gave the order for all 37,000 LED lights to be installed within the next five weeks.

"The road, smart city, and municipal corporation works should be completed on priority," he said as the session is approaching.

Poles have already been put in place as part of the project, and soon LED lights will be attached to those poles. And in a few places, all of the current street lights will be changed.
