Yogi's gifts to Bareilly amount to Rs 1460 bn

On Wednesday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, inaugurated developmental projects worth Rs 1,460 billion in Bareilly. Yogi addressed the crowd and credited the "Double Engine government" with the city's growth. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also stated that from being referred to as the "Jhumka city," Bareilly has transformed into a smart city.

Inaugurating and laying the foundation stone of developmental projects worth Rs 1,460 billion and addressing the Prabuddha Jan Sammelan, Yogi said that Bareilly was no longer known as a city where riots and subsequent curfews were a usual thing. 鈥淚nstead, it is developing into a smart city with smart roads and better air connectivity.鈥�

The CM also asked people to participate in the forthcoming Global Investors Summit in February next year and look for investment opportunities in Bareilly.

The CM further stated that as part of the PM Awas Yojana, 31,700 residences, comprising 17,700 in urban and 14,000 in rural Bareilly, had been given to those in need. He continued by saying that 29,000 street sellers had also benefited from the PM Svanidhi Yojana's interest-free loans, which had given them financial independence. The recipients of various programmes received certificates and documentation from him.
