Jogighopa to get multimodal logistics park worth Rs 640 crore

The Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH), under the Bharatmala Pariyojana, has decided to develop multimodal logistics parks in India with some of the highest freight movement in the country. This is targeted to address and improve the logistics efficiency, and to reduce logistics costs in the country. Jogighopa is one of the foremost locations selected for creation of an MMLP (Multimodal Logistics Park) under this scheme.

Jogighopa Logistics Park Ltd (the 鈥淎uthority鈥�), SPV with 93.53% Equity share of Govt. of India & 6.47% equity share of Govt. of Assam, is undertaking Development, Operation and Maintenance of the Multimodal Logistics Park (MMLP) at Jogighopa in the State of (the 鈥淧roject鈥�) through Public Private Partnership (the 鈥淧PP鈥�) on Design, Build, Finance, Operate and Transfer (the 鈥淒BFOT鈥�) basis, and has decided to carry out the bidding process for selection of a private entity as the Bidder to whom the Project may be awarded.

The complete Bidding Documents can be viewed / downloaded from e-procurement portal from 05/07/2023 to 03/08/2023 (up to 1100 hours. IST). Bid must be submitted online only at http://etenders.gov.in on or before 03/08/2023 (up to 1100 hours IST). Bids received online shall be opened on 04/08/2023 (at 1130 hours IST).

Project Site Area (Approx.) - Approximately 200 acres, Area of about 190 acres is reserved for industrial area/future development whereas area of about 10 acres adjoining the MMLP is proposed for external road connectivity to MMLP site.聽

Proposed Project Components- The Project also envisages various related and allied infrastructure facilities like core ware housing facilities, support logistic facilities, administrative commercial and other amenities facilities, utility facilities, landscaping facilities, staff housing facilities and racking system facilities including maintenance of the railway line connectivity and optional facilities road & transportation facilities.聽

Term of the Agreement- 45 years (Forty Five) (including the Construction Period) from the Appointed Date.

The Concession Agreement shall include the period for fulfillment of Conditions Precedent, Concession Period (which includes the Operations Period and the License Period, which shall be co-terminus to the Concession Period).

Bid Security- INR 6.41 Crore (Six Crore and Forty One Lakhs) in the form of an irrevocable, unconditional E bank guarantee in favour of JOGIGHOPA LOGISTICS PARK LIMITED.聽
