Delhi Assembly MCD members to visit cities for garbage management study

To learn about their solid waste management, segregation, and sanitation practices, members of a Delhi Assembly panel on the Municipal Corporation of Delhi will soon go to some of the cleanest cities in the nation.
MLA Saurabh Bhardwaj serves as the Chairman of the Delhi Vidhan Sabha Committee on the MCD.
An official statement states that starting on Monday, the committee members will conduct on-the-ground research in several towns and meet with local officials to better understand garbage management.
This committee's mission is to implement the best sanitation methods from throughout the nation and the globe in Delhi in order to improve overall municipal sanitation. Beginning on Monday, committee members and MCD representatives will visit communities to observe their approaches to solid waste management, racial segregation, and sanitation.
After these visits, a report will be written outlining the best practises the MCD can use.
A crucial meeting of the panel, which examines the duties and operations of the MCD, was presided over by Bhardwaj and attended by members Kuldeep Kumar, Akhileshpati Tripathi, Sanjeev Jha, Shiv Charan Goel, Atishi, and Ajesh Yadav.
