Lucknow to Launch Rs 33 Billion Housing and Commercial Projects

The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) has announced two major infrastructure projects valued at nearly Rs 33 billion, aimed at reshaping the city’s urban landscape. The initiatives include river view residential apartments and a landmark hotel-commercial complex.

The housing project will feature around four thousand apartments across fifty-one acres behind the Police Headquarters on Shaheed Path. Located in Maleshemau village, it will offer one to four BHK flats and penthouses, with units reserved for economically weaker sections and lower-income groups. Amenities will include a swimming pool, gym, club, and yoga centre, with all towers offering views of the Gomti River.

The residential area will be developed in three clusters to encourage participation from multiple real estate firms. Meanwhile, an Rs 8 billion commercial project is planned on a 5.5 acre site at the 1090 crossing, comprising a hotel, offices, and retail space. The LDA will co-develop the site and lease the property for ninety years under a Public-Private Partnership model.

Requests for Proposals will be issued in June 2025, with completion expected within three years. These projects align with Lucknow’s vision of sustainable, inclusive, and eco-friendly urban growth.
