PM to Inaugurate 103 Amrit Stations Including Five in Karnataka
The Hon. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will inaugurate 103 Amrit Stations through video conference on 22 May 2025 at Bikaner, Rajasthan. Among these, five railway stations in Karnataka鈥擬unirabad, Bagalkot, Gadag, Gokak Road, and Dharwad鈥攚ill be launched.These stations, spread across 86 districts in 18 States and Union Territories, have been developed at a cost exceeding Rs 11 billion under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme. DPIIT Extends Timeline for Safety Order on Electrical Appliances
The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, has extended the implementation timeline for the Safety of Household, Commercial and Similar Electrical Appliances (Quality Control) Order, 2025.
