BHEL to build another unit in Maharashtra

BHEL plans to set up another manufacturing unit at Sakoli in Maharashtra. The plant will cater to the requirements of fabricated assemblies of boilers and turbines for power plants. The land required for the plant is about 500 acre and the first phase investment is estimated at around Rs 522 crore. BHEL has various manufacturing facilities spread across the country including Haridwar, Ranipet, Bhopal, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Trichy. The company's current order book stands at Rs 1.34 lakh crore.
