JREDA extends deadline for solar project at Giridih

The Jharkhand Renewable Energy Development Agency (JREDA) has extended the date and time for submission of bids for 18 MW Grid Connected solar power plants at Giridh. The last date for receipt of online bids has been extended from July 13, 2022 to July 27, 2022. The bid opening date has been extended from July 15, 2022 to July 29, 2022.
This solar tender was announced by JREDA on June 20, 2022. This solar tender is based on a renewable energy service company (RESCO) type grid-connected solar power project.
This EPC tender includes design, engineering, supply, construction, erection, testing, and commissioning work and the power developer will be responsible for O&M, warranty, and Insurance for 25 years. The project will be completed within 15 months of receiving the work order.
The bidder is required to have experience in the development of projects with a combined grid-connected capacity of 50 MW, of which one project should be 10 MW at a single location under RESCO/BOOT/PPP mode. The applicant must have successfully managed a grid-connected ground-mounted solar power project with a capacity of at least 10 MW under a single contract for at least six months prior to the original submission date of this EOI, with each of those six months ending on the last day of the month.
Bidders must submit audited financial statements for the last three years in which bidders should have a positive net worth.
