Trelleborg Wheel Systems has launched its new EMR1031 radial tire for earthmoving operations designed to perform on sandy, rocky and hard surfaces.
The tires feature a wide tread contact area, a sidewall protector, and a multi-surface tread design with high tread depth for longer tire life and enhanced traction. The EMR1031 is appropriate for graders, wheel loaders, and articulated dump trucks.
The EMR1031 tire lets earthmoving operators that operate in construction or landscaping, quarries, or open pits, get a firm grip on the ground, particularly when they need it most, said Marcello Mantovani, product manager, construction at Trelleborg.
According to Trelleborg, it鈥檚 just one of our premium solutions that enable our customers to do the heavy lifting, with comfort, ease, and less downtime. The wide tread contact area delivers up to 7% more stability, even wear, and less vibration.
Manufactured utilising a cut-resistant compound, the EMR1031 is 20% more resistant to cuts and wear, decreasing machine downtime and resulting in lower operating prices. The sidewall protector sticks out to control tire damage when operating over rough ground, like rocky sites.
The tire tread鈥檚 void ratio balance provides longer tire life, and improved grip and boasts a self-cleaning action during service, even on sandy or muddy terrain.
The EMR1031 tire comes with a retreadable casing, decreasing customers鈥 environmental effect.
