All allottees in Noida now have an option to apply for completion certificates online. Additionally, allottees from all the categories can self-assess the breach of the rules of the building plan and pay the compounding charges to the Noida Authority online.
The applications of only industrial and residential allottees were being processed by the authority online so far, and more than 1,600 allottees have wanted completion certificates in Noida through the authority鈥檚 online platform to date.
The authority extended the scope of its online services for all allottees, including group housing, institutional and commercial, on Tuesday, and the authority said that the options would go live for users from Wednesday.
Officials told the media that 21 applicants are currently pending for the completion certificates with authority, while the remaining ones have been disposed of.
An official from the authority told the media that either the completion certificate was issued or the allottees were asked to submit the pending documents to get the same and that at present, only 21 out of 1,626 applications are pending at their end.
CEO Ritu Maheshwari told the media that it would take a maximum of 90 days to dispose of an application to issue the completion certificate.
A set of 30 to 35 documents must be submitted for other plots, while residential plot owners have less paperwork to do to get the completion certificate. These documents cover no-objection certificates from the pollution board and the fire department, building structure, certificates related to the safety of elevators, rainwater harvesting certificate and labour cess registration.
The authority will scrutinise the breach reported by an allottee and the original plan, which was approved before allotting a team of officials from the planning department to visit the site and check if all the formalities were completed before issuing the completion certificate.
Maheswari also said that it would be issued online with a digital signature, and the applicant will not be required to visit the Authority office.
