With 25 years of experience in the construction industry, Suroj Modular Housing cited the need for a hygienic solution for labour housing and project offices at sites. The need is a quick to procure and easy-to-install technology at affordable cost.

After visiting various countries across the globe, the team has selected light gauge steel building technology, which is very popular in the Asian countries.

The technology

In this technology, the profiled sandwich walls and roof panels are manufactured in galvanised precoated steel sheets with EPS as the insulating material. The panels, which are well insulated, light weight and sturdy, are manufactured using latest roll forming technology.The company has the latest machines for making the components of the prefab shelters. While specially trained manpower has also been appointed for fabrication and installation of these products, a design team ensures that the shelters are designed as per the client's requirements. Since these shelters can be dismantled and reassembled number of times, it can also be reused time and again. Also, shifting it from place to place does not require specialised machines, but untrained fitters.
