<span style="font-weight: bold;">SAM APPIAH, Vice President-International Business, Tremco,</span> elaborates on the company's offerings in the market.&nbsp; <br /> <br /> In India, Tremco offers a unique range of products for the building envelope, including polyurethane-based systems for waterproofing, roofing, joint sealing, vehicular coatings, and sealants and accessories for structural glazing. 'Tremco is also a pioneer in several moisture trigger product technologies, which allow the customer to apply on damp and green concrete, which is chemistry that is hard to match in the industry,' says <span style="font-weight: bold;">Sam Appiah, Vice President-International Business, Tremco. </span>He shares more on the company's offerings.<br /> <br /> <span style="font-weight: bold;">With an increase in the demand for green buildings, do you have any offering in this domain?</span><br /> Most of our products are green and contribute significantly to LEED points, which help project owners qualify for LEED ratings in combination with other building materials, as a part of the system. Our green products help the owner to reduce the maintenance and running cycle costs of the building as a whole.<br /> <br /> Some of our roof coatings have a combination of high weather resistance with high solar reflective index, which helps to bring down the energy consumption of the building in question, effecting a faster payback to the owner through reduced energy costs.<br /> <br /> <span style="font-weight: bold;">Tell us about your offerings to improvise the performance of waterproofing and building solutions?</span><br /> Internationally, Tremco has a full range of products for all six sides of the building envelope. <br /> <br /> In India, we have been introducing essential products like TREMproof 250GC and TREMproof 201/60 which are modified polyurethane-based high performance elastomeric coatings. They are suitable for a lot of difficult exposure conditions and are time-tested globally. <br /> <br /> For roofing, Tremco offers its high-end systems Alphaguard and Solargard, which have excellent reflective properties along with weather and waterproofing abilities.<br /> <br /> Tremco's sealants like Dymonic 100 and Vulkem 45SSL for the construction segment and Spectrem silicone sealant line for structural glazing, are renowned in the facades segment. Tremco also offers firestopping sealants to address joints between assemblies or penetrations in assemblies that can negate the protection of fire-rated walls and floors.<br /> <br /> These key product technologies are just the start. We believe as the market acceptance of these systems increases and building specifications continue to evolve to higher standards, Tremco India can bring in its complete international range. In pre-engineered, pre-fabricated and composite structures, Tremco India can play a vital role.<br /> <br /> <span style="font-weight: bold;">How do you foresee your prospects in India in the coming years?</span><br /> We have just begun our operations, and plan to contribute tremendously in the years to come by partnering with the primary stakeholders and specifiers to increase the durability of the built-up environment.
