"Creative Engineers" for architects and designers, McCoy Architectural Systems Pvt Ltd has executed over 1,000 structures to cover an area of more than 5 million sq ft.
McCoy Architectural Systems Pvt Ltd, an architectural engineering company for architects and designers, was established in 1994 with their core business of skylights. The company has grown exponentially in the last decade. From what kick-started as a single product, the company has expanded its wings into other products like architectural steel structures, tensile membrane structures, space frame structures and 蹿补莽补诲别 systems.
Philosophy
To reach new horizons and new aspirations the company has a dream with a theme. For McCoy 鈥淓xcellence鈥� has been the theme and 鈥減erfection鈥� the philosophy. As long as the distant peaks remain to be conquered there will be no looking back.
Ideation, innovation and creation will continue on the same demanding lines. What will change is the scope and the diversion which enables them to "set rather than follow industry standards" moving the company from big to large to larger.

McCoy has a dynamic and cohesive unit of professionals consisting of engineers, architects, MBAs, mechanical draftsmen who help add an edge in every aspect of operations right from R&D, production to marketing. At McCoy the in-house design team fine-tunes each thought into a viable design idea, works out the details of the design on a CAD system, checks the cost to value effectiveness, refines the design to blend with the skyscape, environment and the future. The in-house production unit executes any required task according to customer demand and in desired volumes. With an efficient operations and project management team, McCoy is committed to deliver projects in stipulated time frames.
They conceptualise design, fabricate and execute complex architectural designs in materials like steel, tensile, glass, metal sheets for all applications ranging from airport enclosures to aircraft hangars, from large scale stadiums to simple canopies, from shopping malls to convention centers.
Projects galore
McCoy has executed the Spaceframe Structure for Domestic Airport - Terminal 1B for Chatrapati Shivaji Domestic Airport at Mumbai covering an area of 60,000 sq ft. The roof structure is a space frame structure integrating the exposed services forming an aesthetically appealing roof.
They also have to their credit some interesting steel structures like the administration and cafeteria buildings for Sahara Amby Valley Project in Lonavala, stand alone buildings like the K-Park commercial complex in Mumbai, City Centre Mall, and buildings for Reliance and many more.
The company is also offering tensile membrane structures in PVC Polyester and Glass PTFE. Interestingly, they have executed the Dr DY Patil Stadium Roof, Navi Mumbai, being the first executed Tensile Membrane Stadium roof in India. McCoy has executed various other tensile membrane structures being in use for atrium coverings, toll plazas, canopies etc.
Projects in the offing
The company is currently executing three stadiums for the Commonwealth Games 2010; the scope of work being design, supply, fabrication and erection of steel structures along with the erection of tensile membranes. All the three stadiums are unique in design and have complex operational activities.
Moreover the company has been catering to projects all across India as well as overseas and has executed numerous Government, public, private and residential projects in India.
