Vacmet India to set up unit in Dhar

Packaging materials maker Vacmet India is setting up a unit in Dhar, Madhya Pradesh, with an investment of Rs 1,580 crore. First phase of the unit will be completed by January 2017, with the company targeting to complete all three phases in five years. Producer of polymer and BOPP (Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene) film since 1993, Vacmet exports these films to about 80 countries. ED Searches 13 Locations Linked to Illegal Buildings in Vasai

The Mumbai Enforcement Directorate (ED) searched thirteen locations in Vasai and Virar linked to builders involved in constructing 41 illegal buildings on a 60-acre plot earmarked for public projects.
