- Souma Ray, Director, Haulotte India Stand No.: Outdoor Area - No. 840 Participated in all past editions at BAUMA CONEXPO INDIA Souma Ray, Director, Haulotte India, shares the company鈥檚 expectations from and offerings at BAUMA CONEXPO INDIA 2016鈥� How is the current market scenario influencing your offering at BAUMA CONEXPO INDIA this year? Any new launches planned? Haulotte has been a regular participant at BAUMA across the world. We have been there with BAUMA CONEXPO INDIA since 2011 and have participated in all the three exhibitions held till date. This year too, we will be there for BAUMA CONEXPO 2016 at Gurgaon. We will be located at Outdoor Stall No. 840. This is the only international Show which we find as an appropriate platform to exhibit our products. We expect that customers from both, the end-user sector and rental sector who will be visiting our stall, would be made familiar with the latest technological advances that we have done in our range of Aerial Work Platforms (AWP) and telehandlers. For BAUMA CONEXPO INDIA 2016, we will be exhibiting our latest generation of rough terrain articulated boom, vertical mast, electric scissor and telehandler. Each variant has its own USP, but one of the many distinguishing notable feature is in the lower ground control box of our articulating boom. We have incorporated the Haulotte Diagnostic screen in the panel, which will enable the user to get all the details of performance and related parameter at a touch of a button. Further, any fault diagnosis can also be done on this screen, which gives a pictorial description of the nature and location of the fault. This tremendously helps in reducing the downtime of the machine and any intervention can be done in the shortest possible time. Any specific investments (in rupees) made by the company towards product launches, up-gradation, etc, and if yes, how much? Although I wouldn鈥檛 want to quantify the investment made by us for product laucnches or upgradations, I would certainly say the amount is substantial and the same will be showcased in our machines to be displayed during BAUMA CONEXPO INDIA 2016. In terms of generating business, what are your expectations from the event this year? The aim of participation at the expo is not only for generation of business, which of course is a prime objective, but also to increase the awareness of the multifarious use of AWP and telehandlers across sectors. That is what we are showcasing in our offering during this exhibition.
