Seeing the data of rise in second homes in Alibaug, entrepreneur Aditya Kilachand told the media that the coastal town of Alibaug will become the fastest-growing destination in India within five years.

Alibag has quick connectivity from Mumbai and a quick boat ride from the Gateway of India. The incoming of the city dwellers to buy second homes in Alibaug resulted in infrastructure upgrades, better roads, stable electricity, and a better life. And all these were possible due to the Covid-19 pandemic when work from home gave freedom to shift the workplace to their homes in Alibaug.
