Citi inaugurates 4.20 lakh sq ft space in Chennai & Pune

On Thursday Citigroup Inc, a US-based bank said it inaugurated two state-of-the-art workspaces located in Chennai and Pune under their Citi Solution Centres network to augment its capacity to serve the global clientele.
The locations in Chennai and Pune offer solutions for technology, analytics, operations, risk, finance, and allied services for institutional clients and personal banking and wealth management businesses.
The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED), certified incremental spaces occupying 4.20 lakh sq ft at their existing locations, DLF Cyber City (Chennai) and EON IT Park (Pune) would increase their capacity to serve global clients of Citi.
Citi India CEO Ashu Khullar and Head of Operations and Technology (Asia Pacific), Stacey N Lacy in the presence of other senior officials inaugurated the facilities.
Khullar said that the increased workspaces would complement their existing facilities while they scale up to offer support to over 4,000 additional seats. This move will take Citi's digital strategy forward, which is to deliver market-leading digital banking products with superior client experiences.
Lacy said the expansion of Citi Solution Centre premises in the country shows their commitment to recruiting the best talent as their businesses chase growth and work with clients in this digital age.
They are focused on developing the next generation of talent to innovate, leverage new skills and give the best of CitiBank to their clients.
