CM Stalin unveils housing, warehouses initiatives across 9 districts

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin inaugurated an array of initiatives, including the unveiling of 4,272 new flats by the Tamil Nadu Urban Habitat Development Board. These flats, constructed across nine districts at a cost of Rs 4.5367 billion, mark a significant step towards enhancing urban living.
Furthermore, the chief minister inaugurated a newly constructed multistoried apartment housing 32 units in Tirunelveli district, at a cost of Rs 312.6 million. This housing initiative is part of the 'Housing For All' scheme, with each beneficiary contributing Rs 1.65 lakh in Palayamkottai. Each dwelling, covering 400 square feet, was built at a cost of Rs 9.77 lakh.
The Cooperative department's warehouses, equipped with modern facilities and constructed at a cost of Rs 233.5 million, were also inaugurated. These warehouses are intended for Agricultural Producers Cooperative Marketing Societies in Tiruchengode, Erode, Rasipuram, and Perundurai. The chief minister remotely conducted the inauguration via video conference from the Secretariat.
In a gesture commemorating former Chief Minister M Karunanidhi's birth centenary, Stalin handed over sanction orders to 100 differently-abled individuals under the Kalaignar 100 initiative. Additionally, sanction orders were granted to other deserving beneficiaries.
Addressing the concerns of those affected by the expansion of Neyveli Lignite Corporation, 3,543 persons received pattas, with the chief minister personally presenting seven individuals with these land ownership documents as a symbolic gesture. Moreover, Stalin launched the F-Line online service, facilitating the precise measurement of field boundaries by surveyors.
