Colive, a tech-enabled rental accommodation provider, is transforming its co-living properties into hybrid-living spaces. Colive hopes to improve its customers' living experiences by offering plug-and-play homes with a hybrid working environment as part of this transformation.
Spaces that strike a balance between personal and professional life have become essential in a post-pandemic world where work from home is a popular mode of work and many companies, including start-ups, are adopting the home-office model.
Suresh Rangarajan, Founder and CEO of Colive told the media that remote working is made more difficult for young professionals who are unable to obtain high-speed secure wifi and 24x7 power backup in their hometown. As a result, Hybrid Living provides facilities that are both cost-effective and increase work efficiency to help people cope with the redefined work culture in the post-pandemic world.
A proper formal working environment, round-the-clock power backup, a strong Wi-Fi network, and dedicated conference rooms to conduct meetings are among the amenities.
The company has also developed Bid4Bed, which allows prospective tenants to bid on a property based on its location and sharing preferences.
This enables tenants to provide an accurate estimate of how much they are willing to pay for a listed hybrid living space. If the bid is accepted, the customer must pay the remaining balance and move in. They will receive a counteroffer if their bid is rejected.
Suresh Rangarajan told the media that Priceline is regarded as one of the most remarkable success stories in recent years. It is best known for its name-your-own-price model, which allowed customers to bid for services but not for service providers, and which led to its peak of success. Priceline attracts price-conscious customers because it is an opaque selling mechanism.
Colive has received over 2,000 bids for hybrid living properties through Bid4bed to date, and has seen a 60% increase in reservations since the bidding was implemented.
