Curated Living Solutions (CLSPL), a company specialising in alternative housing and supported by the DivyaSree Developers Group, has successfully acquired a student housing asset located within the NSHM Knowledge Campus in Durgapur, West Bengal. The student housing facility, covering a 1.5-acre land, features a built-up structure of approximately 1 lakh sq ft providing accommodation for 766 beds.
The transaction was facilitated by JLL, a prominent real estate consultancy firm.
Dileep Singh Mehta, chairman trustee of NSHM Academy, expressed, "It was an obvious choice to partner with CLSPL to address the hostel accommodation requirements, given their expertise and dedicated focus in this area. This collaboration will enable NSHM to focus on core academic activities, ensuring a comprehensive and holistic student experience."
This marks CLSPL's inaugural venture into the student housing vertical through a brownfield project.
Jai Kishan Challa, founder and CEO of CLSPL, commented, "The acquisition of this property will augment our portfolio by adding 766 beds, bringing the total to approximately 10,000 beds. CLSPL has formed partnerships with educational institutions such as Manipal Global Education Services, Vignyana Jyothi Institute of Technology - Hyderabad, AISSMS & DY Patil - Pune, and MEDPG ? Chennai, for the management of their student accommodation needs.
