Data centre park to come up in Greater Noida

On Monday, the foundation of a 20-acre data centre park in Greater Noida, in the National Capital Region, was laid by Yotta Infrastructure. Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, was also present virtually during the inauguration. It was announced that the data centre park would have six interconnected data centre buildings, offering around 30,000 racks capacity and will require 200 MW of power to run.

The firm had earlier released the plans of investing approximately Rs 6,000-Rs 7,000 crore in this data centre park. Adityanath said in a statement that through a Business Reform Action Plan, new investors would feel assured and this would unlock a lot of possibilities playing a pivotal role in realising the Digital India vision. He added that the government and administration would give full support to the data centre park during and after the construction.

Previously, in July this year, Yotta had set up the world鈥檚 second largest Tier IV data centre in its Navi Mumbai data centre park. UP Industrial Development Cabinet Minister Satish Mahana, Hiranandani group chairman Niranjan Hiranandani, and Hiranandani group CEO Darshan Hiranandani also attended the ceremony virtually.
