DDA鈥檚 new housing scheme flooded with aspirant buyers

The Delhi Development Authority's (DDA) Housing Scheme 2021 has received booking amounts from over 2,200 home seekers in the higher-income and middle-income group category.

As per data provided by DDA, over 1,000 flats are on offer.

The authority received 53,316 applications last week, out of which 11,157 applicants had submitted full details, and 3,620 applicants paid the booking amount.

The cost of the 1,354 flats on offer across Dwarka, Jasola, Vasant Kunj and Rohini range between Rs 40.6 lakh to Rs 2.1 crore.

The DDA expects the number to double by February 16, the last date to submit applications, with the draw of lots expected in the first week of March.

There are 52 lower income group (LIG) flats on offer, priced from Rs 17.7 lakh to Rs 35.5 lakh, apart from 291 flats for the economically weaker sections (EWS). DDA received payments from 531 aspirants in the LIG category and 802 in the EWS category.
