The town and country planning department (DTCP) will soon hire a private agency for preparing a status project for Mahira Houses, an affordable housing project. DTCP will take charge of the project in Sector 68 after the company's license was cancelled for allegedly submitting forged documents and bank guarantees. The allotted houses demanded an immediate turnover to restart the construction soon. Sanjeev Mann, a senior town planner, said that he told the allottees that the Haryana Shahri Vikas Pradhikaran (HSPV) received a quotation of Rs 25 lakh to prepare the status report and approve the project from the head office. An official said that the report would consist of the status of completed and pending construction work, the amount required for the project and other estimates. DTCP will plan and begin taking over the project based on the status report. Nearly 1,500 homebuyers left the lurch after DTCP cancelled the licence and registered an FIR against Mahira Infratech Private Limited, formerly Sai Aaina Farma Private Limited. Around 90 homebuyers of Mahira 亚博体育官网首页s in Sector 104 met Haryana Real Estate Regulatory Authority (H-RERA), seeking orders to stop instalments from being paid to the developer until the investigation is over.
