Embassy Group leases 4.63 lakh sq ft workspace to Allianz

Embassy Group has rented 4.63 lakh sq ft of office space to Allianz in its Embassy Taurus Techzone project in Thiruvananthapuram, making it the single biggest office lease deal in the city. Allianz has taken 463,704 sq ft of the Grade-A office space.

Situated in a development corridor 12 km away from the International Airport, the vast 21-acre integrated development will have access to banks, food courts, day care, ATMs, and healthcare centres. The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold-rated buildings will render quality, sustainable and energy-efficient workspaces that are provided to fulfil modern challenges and will host an end-to-end building management system.

This development registers the biggest single office lease deal in the city, cementing Thiruvananthapuram as one of South India鈥檚 preferred Information Technology and IT-enabled Services ( IT/ITeS) destinations.

The 3 million sq ft world-class Special Economic Zone (SEZ) office space is being created by Taurus Investment Holdings India and Embassy Group in Taurus Downtown Trivandrum. The handover timeline for the tenancy is planned for November 2022.

Aditya Virwani, Chief Operating Officer (COO), Embassy Group, told the media that Allianz Companies鈥 lease at Embassy Taurus TechZone is the biggest single office deal of its kind in Thiruvananthapuram, and the start of recovery for the Indian Real Estate sector. It is a testament to how demand for big office spaces by blue chips has not been diminished by Covid-19, and they are confident that it will continue to develop.

Embassy Group is committed to fulfilling this increasing demand for Thiruvananthapuram鈥檚 increasing IT, ITeS and BPM (Business Process Management) sector with their future-first, state-of-the-art and sustainability-centric office spaces.
