Generic Engineering Construction secures orders worth Rs 102 cr

The construction engineering major, Generic Engineering Construction and Projects Limited announced that the company has been given construction orders worth Rs 101.77 crore.

The company declared in a regulatory filing that it has been bestowed 100 crore worth of new projects鈥攔esidential, commercial, industrial and educational, from various clients including the current clients as well as new ones.

Generic also stated that it has received orders for constructing residential buildings at Borivali and Kalyan and for the construction of a school and community hall for a Trust at Thane in Maharashtra.

The company also received infrastructural works of Software offshore development centre (ODC) and the General Manager office at a factory outlet in Karnataka.

BSE and NSE listed construction enterprise, Generic Engineering Construction and Projects cited its receipt of orders, which account for a total of Rs 1,390.34 crore.

Generic is a public limited company controlled by its Chairman, Ravilal Patel which is listed on Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange (NSE), Mumbai. The company has been building good quality projects in and around Navi Mumbai and Mumbai for over five decades.
