MUDA to disperse housing sites in Kunjathbail

The Mangaluru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) is getting ready to disperse home sites created in Kunjathbail after a 12-year hiatus. The statement was made to the media by MUDA Chairman Ravishankar Mijar following the unveiling of the organization's new logo in the conference room.

"The housing layout has been developed on 17.49 acres of land in Kunjathbail. Out of the 208 sites available, 182 sites will be allotted through a lottery process. The land is available in various sizes, and MUDA has created a good ambiance in the layout by providing all the facilities including walking paths, parks, and good roads," he said.

MUDA will distribute the sites through a lottery draw to maintain transparency. Each cent on the website costs 8,5000 millions, with prices ranging from 1.33 cents to 8.24 cents. The sites will be distributed in a range of sizes, including 6.00x9.00 meters (1.33 cents), 9.00x1200 meters (4.45 cents), 12.00x15 meters (4.34 cents), 12.00x18 cents, 12x24 cents, and 6.00xabove meters (1.33 cents) (4.45 cents). The application deadline is April 6, and MUDA will distribute application forms from March 6 to April 6. Each applicant must pay a reservation site early deposit equal to 10% of the site cost. Only sites measuring 6.00 x 9.00 meters (1.33 cents) are eligible for the reserve.

The following categories require reservations: 10% for members of the underprivileged classes, 3% for designated tribes, 15% for veterans, soldiers in the central armed forces, and family members of martyrs, 50% for the general public, 3% for people who are physically challenged, and 5% for high performers in various disciplines.

In addition, Mijar announced that MUDA would create and distribute layouts in the nearby villages of Chelyar and Konaje. 30 lakes and 65 parks have also been created in the city by MUDA.

25 Bank of Board and MUDA branches, including those in various taluks and the outskirts of the city, would have application forms available.

Dr. Bhaskar N, the MUDA commissioner, was also present at the launch.
