Nielsen Expands Presence in India with New Offices

Nielsen, a global leader in audience measurement, data, and analytics, has inaugurated its new offices in Mumbai and Bengaluru, reinforcing its commitment to growth, technology innovation, and business expansion in India.
Located in Goregaon, Mumbai, and Whitefield, Bengaluru, these new offices mark a significant step in strengthening Nielsen’s regional footprint. The Mumbai office spans 1,50,000 sq ft, while the Bengaluru office covers 1,36,000 sq ft, providing a flexible and collaborative work environment designed to foster innovation and productivity.
Sustainability and Employee Well-Being at the Core
The offices are equipped with energy-efficient systems, automatic lighting, and optimised water usage, ensuring sustainability and employee well-being. Designed to enhance collaboration, they feature huddle spaces, networking areas, and ergonomic furniture, creating an interactive workspace for 1,500 employees per office.

Highlighting India’s rapidly growing media market, Karthik Rao, CEO of Nielsen, stated:

Nielsen is set to open additional offices across India, including Gurgaon and Hyderabad, further reinforcing its long-term commitment to the Indian market.
Recently, Nielsen signed an MoU with the Government of Maharashtra at the World Economic Forum 2025, announcing an investment of Rs 4.5 billion into the state’s IT and ITeS sector. This initiative aims to create 1,100 new jobs, particularly in AI, data science, and analytics.
Additionally, ahead of the Tata Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, Nielsen has partnered with JioStar to provide advanced analytics solutions for its OTT platform, JioHotstar, setting new standards for campaign measurement and audience insights.
