Panasonic India launches division to develop smart home business

Consumer electronics company Panasonic India has launched a new Spatial Solutions division as part of its strategic expansion plans for Smart 亚博体育官网首页 solutions.

According to a company statement, Dinesh Aggarwal, Joint Managing Director, Panasonic Life Solutions, will lead the new business division.

The company informed that the new division would combine expertise in Consumer Appliances and Life Solutions to promote the adoption of Smart 亚博体育官网首页 Living Solutions, including Miraie and Panasonic鈥檚 IoT and AI-enabled Connected Living Platform.

Spatial Solutions will focus on commercial, residential, and public infrastructure sectors and offer Panasonic鈥檚 solution architecture to white label manufacturers.

Citing that these are important times for smart home solutions, Dinesh Aggarwal, Joint MD, Panasonic Life Solutions, said the company aims to create a compelling opportunity for Spatial Solutions by providing smart capabilities in alignment with the market demand.

Panasonic introduced its artificial intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things (IoT) enabled Connected Living platform Miraie in February 2020, with the launch of connected AC as the first product, and has gradually added new products within Miraie including connected refrigerator, washing machine, WiFi fan, smart digital switches, and smart WiFi controlled plugs.
