The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) is developing an adventure zone within the Eco-Hill Park in Kothwalguda, near the Himayatsagar Reservoir. Spanning 6.04 acres within the park鈥檚 82-acre expanse, this new attraction will offer various adventure activities while ensuring visitor safety. The facility will include a sky bridge, roller coaster zip line, climbing wall, giant swing, suspension bridge, flying cup, human slingshot, multiple zip lines, a 360-degree flying cycle, a rope course with multiple obstacles, a bungee trampoline, vortex tunnels, rifle shooting, and other adventure-based attractions. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 150 million. In addition to the adventure zone, HMDA has already established an aviary, butterfly park, viewing points, and a boardwalk within Eco-Hill Park. The development and maintenance of the adventure activities will be undertaken by a private sector developer, who will also have the flexibility to introduce additional entertainment options within the designated area while preserving the existing ecosystem. The project is scheduled for completion within 12 months from the signing of the agreement. Eco-Hill Park was developed to maintain the ecological balance around Himayatsagar while providing recreational amenities. Located near the Outer Ring Road (ORR) and overlooking the reservoir, the park has received funding from the state government for common infrastructure and key components. Further developments are planned under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model. The adventure zone aims to create an eco-friendly recreational space that caters to visitors of all ages. The facility will feature adrenaline-inducing activities such as zip-lining, archery, gun shooting, high rope courses, bungee jumping, rock climbing, futsal, and multi-activity towers, promoting outdoor adventure while adhering to sustainable practices.
