Genesys International has bagged a Rs 150 million contract to expand its 3D mapping and analytics services to the outskirts of Pune. The order, awarded by regional development authorities, highlights the growing reliance on geospatial tech for city planning and infrastructure.
The contract builds on Genesys鈥檚 broader mission to bring high-precision mapping tools to India's urban transformation. 鈥淲ith 67 per cent of urban India still lacking structured development plans, there鈥檚 an urgent need to scale up geospatial integration,鈥 said Sajid Malik, Chairman and MD of Genesys.
Established in 1995 and based in Mumbai, Genesys is a leader in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and geospatial engineering. The company offers 3D Digital Twin platforms, mapping APIs, ADAS technologies, and geospatial survey services, backed by over 2,000 professionals.
Its solutions, powered by AI, machine learning, and IoT, cater to sectors like urban infrastructure, telecom, utilities, and environmental monitoring. Genesys鈥檚 pan-India sensor network supports projects such as smart city development, utility mapping, and disaster risk assessments.
This new order cements its position as a key player in India鈥檚 digital infrastructure push, as demand for high-resolution spatial data grows with urban sprawl.
