Nitin Gadkari inaugurates 3 NH projects worth Rs 29 bn in Tirupati, AP

The story reported that today, in the presence of several people at Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, laid the foundation stone for three NH Projects. It was mentioned that these projects have a combined length of 87 kilometres and are estimated to cost Rs 29 billion.

According to the report, the first project is the Naidupate-Turpu Kanupur Section of NH-71, which spans 35 km and requires an investment of Rs 13.99 billion. The second project is the Chillakuru Cross-Krishnapatnam Port South Gate Section via Turpu Kanupur on NH-516W, covering a distance of 36 km and valued at Rs 9.09 billion.

Lastly, the Thamminapatnam-Narikellapalle Section involves an extension of the Dedicated Port Road from Eupuru to Krishnapatnam Port on NH-516W and NH-67. It has a length of 16 km and is valued at Rs 6.10 billion.

It was stated by Gadkari that the purpose of these projects is to provide seamless and secure connectivity to Krishnapatnam Port, allowing faster access to National Master Plan Nodes, Industrial Nodes, and SEZ at Nellore. Additionally, these projects will improve the safety and convenience of devotees traveling to religious destinations such as the Balaji Temple in Tirupati and the Shiva Temple in Srikalahasti. Gadkari further mentioned that under the dynamic leadership of Modi, they remain fully committed to ensuring swift, seamless, and energy-efficient mobility throughout the entire nation.

Gadkari also highlighted that these projects will boost tourism by establishing connections to popular attractions like the Nelapatu Bird Sanctuary and SHAR at Sriharikota. Moreover, they are expected to create significant employment opportunities.
