Tuensang Inaugurates Link Road for Growth

The newly constructed link road connecting Yali and Noksen villages in Tuensang was officially inaugurated on February 3 by MLA Lima Onen Chang. The road, funded by the Special Assistance to State for Capital Investment (SASCI) scheme, is expected to significantly improve transportation and infrastructure in the region.

The road construction aims to enhance basic amenities and strengthen the connectivity between neighbouring villages. Chang expressed his gratitude towards the Chief Minister of Nagaland for supporting the development of the Noksen Constituency, particularly for the benefit of Yali and Noksen villages.

Chang highlighted the role of such infrastructure projects in fostering prosperity, urging the community to unite and focus on collective progress. He also underscored the importance of truth and integrity, encouraging the public to reject bribery and misjudgments that could hinder development.

The inauguration ceremony featured speeches from local leaders, including Shokomong, Chairman of the Yali Village Council, and Sandong Chang, President of Yali Mutlie Thangjam, Tuensang. Both leaders expressed their appreciation for the project and its positive impact on the community's future.
