Mandi House Metro in Delhi to be ready by March

By next March, the first stage of the Delhi Metro's Phase III section will become operational commercially, said Delhi Metro Rail Corporation on December 10. Trial runs of the Metro train, between Central Secretariat and Mandi House, will start from December 30. On this this 3-km underground stretch work of the Metro line is almost complete and trial runs are expected to continue for a couple of months. The construction for this line started in December 2011. The first interchange station on the line's Phase-III will be Mandi House and is being expanded to serve more commuters.
