Ambuja Neotia Group sets up private varsity in West Bengal

Kolkata-based industrialist and Chairman of the Ambuja Neotia Group, Harshvardhan Neotia, unveils his own private university. Set up at Sarisa on Diamond Harbour Road in South 24-Parganas, the Neotia University is the fifth private university in West Bengal. Spread over a 50 acre campus, the university will have 500 faculty members and also hostel facilities, gymnasium, etc. Around Rs 80 crore have been invested in the project with plans to invest an additional of around Rs 200 crore over a period of seven to eight years.
