Tech giant Apple has recently expanded its presence in India by establishing a new 15-storey office in the heart of Bengaluru, which is designed to accommodate up to 1200 employees. The company, presently having close to 3,000 employees in India, collaborates with Indian suppliers of various sizes, contributing to the creation of hundreds of thousands of jobs across the country. Apple's teams in Bengaluru are engaged in diverse aspects of the company's business, encompassing software, hardware, services, IS&T, operations, customer support, and more.
According to a statement released by the company, this office is the latest addition to Apple's corporate office locations in Bengaluru, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Gurugram. It marks a significant milestone in Apple's history of over 25 years in India.
As per the company's announcement, the newly established Apple India office is situated at Minsk Square, centrally located in the city. The surroundings include notable landmarks such as the parliament, high court, central library, Chinnaswamy cricket stadium, and one of the largest green parks in Bengaluru.
The statement also mentions that the office's proximity to the Cubbon Park metro station ensures convenient access to public transit for employees.
The interior of the office showcases the use of locally-sourced materials like stone, wood, and fabric for walls and flooring. Furthermore, the office is adorned with native plants, contributing to a sustainable and environmentally friendly workspace.
