Rohtas Plumeria ÑDz©ÌåÓý¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³s project completion gets UP RERA nod

The Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UP-RERA) granted the Plumeria ÑDz©ÌåÓý¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³s Welfare Association the allowance to finish the remaining construction work of the Rohtas Plumeria ÑDz©ÌåÓý¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³s project of Andes Townplanners established in Lucknow.

In August 2019, UP-RERA abolished the registration of this project due to violations of the RERA Act by the promoter and created a project report and monitoring committee under Bhanu Pratap Singh, which is one of its members.

Afterwards, RERA directed the association of allottees to present a viable proposal for the remaining project work completion. In March 2021, the Plumeria ÑDz©ÌåÓý¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³s Welfare Association submitted its proposal.

Under the proposal, the association offered to undertake the remaining construction work in collaboration with a developer to be selected via a transparent tender procedure.

The welfare association would have to publish an Expression of Interest (EoI) for selecting the developer in 30 days from the date of order issuance. U.P. RERA is subjected to strict terms and conditions. The developer would be chosen based on the quantum of the surplus.

It can produce from the project, afterwards which can be used for finishing the remaining construction work of additional incomplete projects of the promoter below the rules of RERA.

The association would prepare the Detailed Project Report (DPR) of the project with the new developer and get the approval of RERA.

Based on the certificates by the architect, chartered accountant, and the structural engineer of the project and the construction consultant appointed by RERA, the association would open an individual bank account for the project and withdraw from this account only.

Rohtas Plumeria ÑDz©ÌåÓý¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³s was initiated in 2008, with around 900 allottees. Currently, its promoters are escaping.
