Sunil Mantri ends tenure as MCHI President

Sunil Mantri has ended his tenure as the President of the Maharashtra Chamber of Housing Industry (MCHI) with effect from end of May 2011.Sunil Mantri, Chairman of Sunil Mantri Realty, had carried forward the presidency from Pravin Doshi, his predecessor, in May since 2010.

Mantri鈥檚 outlined vision for MCHI for the year 2010-2011 was the substantial expansion of the Chamber鈥檚 activities, programmes and initiatives through more realty exhibitions in Maharashtra. He ensured speedy approvals and reforms for property development and redevelopment. He also suggested solutions for government authorities for single window clearance through use of technology for granting approvals and sanctions. Other proactive steps suggested to government bodies include deletion of 15-25 percent EWS reservation and coordination of policy maker/all CM鈥檚 across India. He also took steps to help the Maharashtra Government execute conveyance of single buildings and completed layouts.
