Dehradun to Ayodhya, Varanasi, Amritsar flights commence

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami announced the commencement of flight operations from Dehradun to three major cities, namely Ayodhya, Varanasi, and Amritsar.

The three services were initiated from Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun.

The event's inauguration was conducted by CM Dhami, who lit a lamp and cut a cake.

During his speech, the Chief Minister expressed, We strive to make the transportation of people within the entire state of Uttarakhand convenient, simple, and easy. To achieve this goal, we are consistently making efforts, and citizens from across the country are traveling to different places within the state.

He further stated, I have inaugurated air services from Jolly Grant Airport, Dehradun, to Shri Ayodhya Dham, Amritsar, Pantnagar, and Varanasi. I handed out boarding passes to the passengers, extending my wishes for a happy journey. Thanks to the efforts of the double engine government, the air connectivity in Devbhoomi Uttarakhand is continuously strengthening. The commencement of these air services will not only enhance transportation convenience but also give a new direction and momentum to tourism in the state.

Discussing air services, the Chief Minister mentioned that the state had previously initiated air connectivity to and from Dehradun-Pithoragarh. Additionally, heli services from Haldwani to Champawat, Munsiyari, and Pithoragarh were also introduced.

Expressing gratitude, the Uttarakhand Chief Minister thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia. He praised PM Modi for unprecedented progress in various sectors, including air services, under his leadership.

In an interaction with passengers traveling to Ayodhya, amidst the chanting of Jai Shri Ram, the Chief Minister extended his wishes for a safe journey.
