Kottayam to get outer ring road

In Kottayam, connecting Pakkil-Kanjikuzhy and Kodimatha an already existing road network will be developed as an outer ring road of the town. The Public Works Department said that the work includes the modification of the MG Road (1 km), ML Junction-Muttambalam Road (2.5 km) and Kanjikuzhy-Power House Junction Road (7 km). The road will be raised in those portions affected by water logging. Tarring will be taken up by ensuring a minimum width of 5.5 m in the latter two stretches and 15 m on MG road. The outer bypass will start from Power House Junction-Pakkil-Kaduvakkulam-Nalkkavala-Kollad-Bata Junction-Muttambalam Railway Cross-Erayilkadavu-Chanthakadavu and finally join MG Road.

Kolkata鈥檚 luxury housing market sees price growth amid mixed trends

A new study by Nklusive reveals that Kolkata鈥檚 luxury residential market (Rs 5鈥�10 crore) recorded a 33 per cent year-on-year rise in supply and a 52 per cent increase in sales in calendar year 2024 (CY24).
