JK Tyres launches puncture guard technology for four-wheelers tyres

On Thursday, JK Tyre & Industries told the media that it launched the nation's first puncture guard technology in tyres for four-wheelers.

The technology, with specially engineered self-healing elastomer inner coat, applied inside the tyres through an automated process, heals the punctures. Puncture guard tyre provides hassle-free ride throughout the life of the tyre, without air loss. With the introduction of Smart tyre technology in 2020 and currently the Puncture Guard Tyre technology, they have yet again delivered on their commitment to rendering advanced mobility solutions to their customers. This technology provides a high level of safety and convenience to vehicle owners, as per JK Tyre Chairman & Managing Director Raghupati Singhania.
