Rail Vikas Nigam Limited invites bids for Rayagada Yard

For the Rayagada Yard Phase-II and other associated works in Package-4 of the Sambalpur/Waltair Divisions of the East Coast Railway in Odisha, India, Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (RVNL) is now accepting bids. The projects involve building bridges, installing track (apart from providing rails and B.G. main line sleepers), building platforms, platform shelters, and softly developing the Rayagada Circulating Area, among other things.

The project is expected to cost around 3561404810 million, and it will take 18 months to complete. The project for the third line of the existing railway line between Titlagarh and Vizianagaram of the East Coast Railway includes the tendered work, which is situated between the yard limits of Bissamcuttack and Ladda station and in connection with the third line track between Titlagarh and Vizianagaram Section.

The scope of work encompasses Passenger Amenities at Stations, Passenger Amenities at Bridges, Protection Works, Formation Works, P. Way Track Linking, Laying of Points and Crossings, Slewing of Track, Miscellaneous Works, Supply of Cement, Provision of Site Facility, and Related Works. The third line, which runs between Titlagarh and Vizanagaram, includes the portion of stations at Bissamcuttack and Ladda.
