YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the state's chief minister, inaugurated the property registration process in 37 village secretariats. Officials have selected 37 village secretariats for a pilot project to conduct an integrated land survey. For the first time in 100 years, the state government is conducting a comprehensive land survey across the state. The survey makes use of cutting-edge technologies, such as drones for physical mapping of the area and its boundaries. The comprehensive land survey would be finished by June 2023, according to authorities who spoke with the chief minister. They also said that three drones have been hired for each income division and that filming of the lands will be completed by December 2022 using the drones. Before giving permanent land ownership pattas to the owners, the chief minister instructed the officials to ensure that all problems, including ownership and boundaries, are settled peacefully. Reddy also told them to give the lands given to them by the forefathers valid titles. Reddy informed them to meet with the parties engaged in the conflicts and try to address the issues amicably through communication. The chief minister requested that the officials tackle the problems at the village secretariat level. When it came to property registration at village secretariats, Reddy urged staff to leave no possibility for corruption. Reddy wanted them to speed up the process of resolving disputes and registering properties. Reddy told the officials to make sure the records were not tampered with. The amount of the land, its boundaries, the names of the owners, and the nature of the land should all be clearly stated in the registration forms.
