CIDCO extends online registration of Mass Housing Scheme 2022

Maharashtra鈥檚 City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) has awarded an extension for online registration of Mass Housing Scheme 2022 until 10 March, 2022, based on the requests of the citizens.
The last date for the payment of fees and EMD amount and the computerised draw has been extended consequently. CIDCO鈥檚 Mass Housing Scheme 2022 has obtained an overwhelming response. The last date for submission of the applications has been extended to permit sufficient time for submission of documents and payment of the EMD amount. It will give an added window to the citizens who are willing to apply, as per Sanjay Mukherjee, Vice-Chairman and Managing Director, CIDCO.
The authority had rolled out the mass housing scheme of 5,730 homes on January 26, 2022. Under this scheme, 5,730 flats have been made available in the rapidly growing Taloja node in Navi Mumbai. Out of the total 5,730 homes, 1,524 homes are available for the economically weaker sections under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY), and the remaining 4,206 homes are for the general category.
As per the revised schedule, online registration can be done by March 10, 2022. After the registration, the online application and online payment process have to be completed by March 11, 2022. The draft list of accepted applicants will be published on March 17, 2022, and the final list of accepted applicants will be published on March 21, 2022, on CIDCO鈥檚 website.
The computerized draw for the scheme will be conducted on March 25, 2022. Taloja Node is one of the fastest-increasing nodes in Navi Mumbai. The Mumbai-Pune Highway, Railways, and CIDCO鈥檚 Navi Mumbai Metro project help the node with robust connectivity. The Metro Depot for the Navi Mumbai Metro will also be situated at Taloja, and the node will be linked to the CBD Belapur node via the metro.
