Godrej Properties notes 18% jump in sales bookings in FY22

Sales bookings of Godrej Properties Limited increased by 18% to Rs 3,072 crore in April-September 2021 due to higher demand for residential properties in Delhi National Capital Region (NCR).
The sales bookings of properties had stood at Rs 2,605 crore in the same period during the last financial year.
The sales volume increased by 3% to Rs 43,83,959 sq ft during the first six months of FY22, compared to Rs 42,41,283 sq ft in the same period during the last financial year.
From the overall sales booking during the first half (H1) of FY22, the residential properties stood at Rs 3,051 crore, and commercial properties at Rs 20 crore.
The sales booking from Delhi NCR stood at Rs 1,063 crore, Pune at Rs 607 crore, Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) at Rs 525 crore and Bengaluru at Rs 330 crore.
The company has witnessed a five-fold jump in its consolidated net profit of Rs 35.72 crore during September end this year. Last year its net profit was Rs 7.10 crore.
The total income of the company has increased to Rs 334.22 crore during the second quarter (Q2) of FY22 from Rs 250.23 crore in the same period last year.
The executive chairman of Godrej Properties', Pirojsha Godrej, said that after a week in the first quarter, the realty sector rebounded strongly during the second quarter. He added that the company has launched a robust pipeline plan in H2 FY22 and expects to grow on the current momentum.
