Portfolio expansion plans by Skootr

Skootr, a Premium managed office space provider, makes expansion plans of 4 million sq ft, which is currently at 4 lakh sq ft, backed by the increased flexible workspace demand by the large corporates. The company will probably acquire various assets in major cities including Bangalore, Mumbai, Pune, and Chennai. Additionally, the focus is also on other cities which include Gurgaon, Hyderabad, and Jaipur, Skootr Country Head, Rajat Johar.

First Bangalore may be materialised as the search is for a Grade A building. An increase in the absorption of seats will be seen as per experts.

The company aims to achieve a 4 million sq ft portfolio by 2024. Out of which around 1.5 million sq ft is going to be in Hyderabad. 1.35 lakh sq ft of space in Gurugram and Hyderabad has been acquired in the last three months.

As currently there are many transactions in the city and most of their space is there. There is no upper limit set. However, they won't go for spaces below 50,000 sq ft. The company is willing to acquire spaces that are required by their clients as well as spend more. They also have new clients from various sectors including finance, gaming, and legal advisory.

Fitouts and Leasing solutions are also offered by the company. This too is said to have gained demand.
