In the span of four days, the registration department's 27 city offices successfully processed over 90% of the 13,500 pending leave-and-licence applications. This delay had initially arisen due to technical issues with the software.Sachin Shingavi, the president of the association of service providers, highlighted that the delays had stretched to nearly 20-25 days, particularly in cities like Pune and Mumbai. Tenant Raghuvir Yadav, who had submitted his document registration request online the previous week, expressed optimism about a swift resolution now that the process was gaining momentum. With the process now speeding up, Yadav remarked, I am hopeful that mine will also be cleared soon.
